O K Stafford JR.

On Thursday September 5th, Ondrel King Stafford Jr. (known to all as OK) loving husband and father, passed away at the age of 90.

OK was born on July 26th, 1929 to Ondrel and Ruby Stafford in Hamtramck, Michigan.  He was the first member of his family to attend and graduate from college ultimately achieving a Masters degree.  OK served in both the US Army and Air Force.  As a member of NASA he was heavily involved with our nation's space initiative as it grew from the Mercury program through the space shuttle.

OK had a passion for fixing and restoring automobiles especially for Model A and Mustang cars.

OK was preceded in death by his father, Ondrel, and his mother, Ruby.  He is survived by his current wife of 52 years, Sharon, and his son, Michael, 3 grandchildren (Erin, Kaitlin and Brianna) and 1 great granddaughter (Karis).
