It is with great sadness that we announce the recent passing of Mary Latham at Bayshore Hospital on March 2, 2019 at the age of 87 years.
Mary is Survived by siblings (Leona Owens, Alice Tx and May Rodeheaver, Dallas Tx). Also Survived by 5 grandchildren (David Jr, Michael, Jeffrey, Christina, Jessica) And 14 great-grandchildren( Savannah, Lillyan, Victoria, Gunner, Lena, Kayla, Justin, Christina, Jovonnie, Phoenix, Isabella, Azariah, Sadie) And 2 great-great grandchildren( Zoey, Angel)
She is preceded in Death by her Father William And Mother Albina Volcik.
She grew up on a Texas Farm, where she picked cotton and raised animals. She married Walter Ennis Latham in 1951. After moving to Houston Tx, she began working as a business owner for 2 restaurants and owned a resell business.
They welcomed 2 children into thier homes. (David Ennis Latham and Cecilia Jean Latham)
Mary's achievements in life were numerous, but will be remembered as a hardworking farmer, business owner, and a dedicated Roman Catholic, who Loved and is Loved. She was a hardworker and caregiver for her family. She enjoyed traveling, gambling, and spending time with her Family.
Viewing will be held at 9:00am to 11:45am.
Church Mass starts at 12:00pm at
1411 Beaumont St. South Houston Tx, 77587.
Final Resting place will be held at Mt. Olivet
Catholic Cemetery.
