Eugene Anthony LeBlanc was born on November 08, 1950 in Terrebonne Parish, Houma, Louisiana. He regained his wings on February 28, 2024 after a very sudden decline in his health. Eugene was only 73 years of age.
Eugene is survived by his loving wife Esmeralda LeBlanc, his Step-daughter Maria Julian, Son-in-law Kal Algheri, Granddaughter Alara, brother Dale LeBlanc, sisters Eunice Cangelosi and her husband Nick Cangelosi, Shirley Guy, Caroline Trosclair, and her husband John Trosclair, Sandra Hutchinson,and her husband Kevin Hutchinson, his sister-in-law Tonie Reyes and her husband Jose Reyes, Gloria Riojas, Janie Andrada, Julie Prebie, and Brother-in-law Martin Perez Jr., Godchildren Kayla Godson and Ralph LeBlanc, many loving nieces and nephews on both sides of the family, his dog Maddie and many loyal friends and extended family members. Eugene was predeceased by his father Alvin Joseph LeBlanc and mother Eunice LeBouef LeBlanc, Brothers: Francis LeBlanc, Charles LeBlanc, Carroll LeBlanc, Druis Sr. LeBlanc, Alvin Jr. LeBlanc, Ronald LeBlanc, Barry LeBlanc, Darry LeBlanc. Sisters: Joyce DeHart, Rita Mae LeBouef, Kathy Ledet.
Eugene and Esmeralda originally met in middle school in Smiley, Texas, but their lives took them on different paths until many years later in their late 50s when they reconnected and chose each other as life partners.
Eugene attended South Terrebonne High School graduating in 1971. In 1971, straight out of high school he began working for Mi SWACO and was a dedicated hard worker for 37 years as a Tankerman, he then moved to Midland, Texas where he became a proud Security Guard in 2015. From 2015 to 2022, Eugene served and protected working as a security guard. Most recently, Eugene retired in Houston, Texas in 2022 and enjoyed time with his granddaughter and family.
