Henry Marx Obituary

Henry Albert Marx, of Rosharon, Texas passed away Tuesday, November 19th, 2019 in Nassau Bay, Texas after a long hard fight against cancer.

Born in Montgomery, Alabama on November 17th, 1956, Henry was 63 years old at the time of his passing.  Henry moved to Texas as a young man where he has been a longtime resident.

Henry was a HUGE family man.  He loved spending time with family, whether we were celebrating, eating, cheering someone on for something, comforting family in a time of need or just watching a good ole’ football game.  His deep voice and love for each of his friends and family made for a big presence each and every time he was around.

Henry loved spending time riding his Harley with friends and family.  It was his passion and he got a kick out of every opportunity he had to ride.  When Henry wasn’t riding his Harley, he loved watching Alabama Crimson Tide football games, cheering them on as if he were in the stadium on the front row.  Henry’s favorite place to be with family and friends was the Frio River where for years, many memories were made and much time was spent with people he loved.

Henry is survived by his wife Kim Marx,  his step-daughter Erin Morse and her husband Ronnie Morse, his son Henry Albert Marx Jr, his son Justin Marx, his mother Betty Marx, his step-father and mother, John and Carol Yarbrough, his brothers, Frederick Marx, Cory McCain, and Danny Brown, his sisters Lisa Kennedy and Tammy Mullen, his 5 beautiful grandchildren, Jarred, Nathan, Hayden, Rysten and Leana.

Henry is preceded in death by his father Henry Brown, his step-father Frederick Marx Sr, his daughter Amber Marx, and his sister Donna Marx.

The family would like to Thank all of our friends and loved ones who have prayed for us and shown support during this time.  We would also like to Thank the medical community at Clear Lake Houston Methodist hospital for outstanding care for our beloved Henry.

The Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd, 2019 from Noon – 6pm.  For more detailed information please contact Erin Morse,  Tammy Mullen, Natalie Sonnenburg, or Kim Marx
