Saragosa Loredo

Saragosa H. Loredo also known as “Gocho”, “Grandpa”, and “Grandpee”; born March 14, 1944 in Sinton, Texas to Florentino Loredo and Simona Hernandez passed away February 28, 2019 of lung cancer.  “Grandpee” is preceded in death by his grandchildren: Sue Ellen Loredo and Joshua Rodriguez.  Saragosa is survived by his ex-wife and Best Friend Jesusa Loredo; his Sister Elida Ramon; his loving Children: Isacc Loredo, Saragose Jr. Loredo, Dorothy Loredo, and Rachel Valdez.  “Grandpa” is also survived by his adoring Grandchildren: Anthony Loredo, Joanna Loredo Canales, Susan Portillo, Sandra Rodriguez, Sean Loredo, Ashley Moore, Justin Moore, and Jeremy Valdez; his Great Grandchildren: Joshua Garcia, Matthew Garcia, Mercedes Garcia, Adrian Loredo, Mariah Garcia, Xavier Trevino, Devin Trevino, Brandon Ramirez, Julianna Portillo, Aubree Trevino, Isabella Canales, Marcus Canales, David Jr Canales, AJ Loredo, Adrian Loredo, Hailey Loredo, and Jazmine Loredo; as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Saragosa attended Alvin Community College Alvin, TX where he studied and became an EMT (Emergency Medical Technician).  “Grandpa” was happily retired, also a member of Alvin Church of Christ for many years.

Saragosa favorite thing about life was being a Father, Grandfather, and Great-Grandfather; the best all in one.  He enjoyed his home vegetable garden and being a handyman.  “Grandpa” could fix anything big or small, he loved to cook and eat. “Beans and bortillas” was his favorite.  There was a pot of beans on the stove every day, but most importantly “Grandpee” loved his family.

Grandpa will be greatly missed by family and friends.  It brings us joy and comfort knowing we will meet again. This is not good bye... this is see you later! Grandpa’s life is not ending, his eternal life has just begun. We love you Grandpa. Thank you for all the joy you have brought us, you will be greatly missed. Rest In Peace our Sweet Angel.
