Saty Segu was the youngest of nine siblings.  He is survived by his beloved wife of 56 years, Indumathi Segu, and his three children: Padhmalatha Segu, Sunil Segu, Bhagya Segu, and granddaughters Neela Pirwani and Maya Pirwani.
